Carbon Fuel Tank Build Part 1 - Mold Making

Building a Scrambler Carbon Fiber Petrol Tank: Mold Making Hi, welcome back to my channel. My instagram:   / zrc_works   In this part of the Suzuki GS1100 build, we're diving into the process of creating a high-quality fiberglass mold for the custom petrol tank. I’m using a Kawasaki GPZ tank as the base, which required some initial modifications—including cutting and reshaping the underside with fiberglass and body filler—to ensure a perfect fit on the GS1100 frame. This video covers the step-by-step molding process, from prepping the modified tank to the final fiberglass layup. While this is my first time making a petrol tank mold, the results are looking great and setting us up perfectly for the upcoming carbon fiber stage. #easycomposites #ScramblerBuild #CarbonFiber #custommotorcycle The materials I used for the mould making: High Temp Epoxy Laminating Resin: https://www.easycomposites.eu/el160-h...
