Repairing a Wind Dance branded stand fan model POS-16X. Part 1: disassembling the fan, removing the capacitor, and testing it's micro-farad value. As expected, the capacitor tested well below the rated value and is spoiled. A new capacitor will be ordered, which will hopefully fix this fan.
