Cosa si nasconde nell'universo oscuro? | Stefano Camera | TEDxTorino
A cosmologist today is a scientist who studies the universe as a whole, a system with its own properties and evolution. Although there has been undeniable progress in understanding the cosmos, cosmologists only know 5% of the universe's total contents and are trying to understand what it is composed of and how it functions. In this ongoing quest, they also wonder what the fate of our universe might be. #astronomy #physics #science #future Stefano Camera was born in Genoa, the Superb, on the day that, 32 years later, the first gravitational wave in history was heard; he studied theoretical physics and bagna caôda in Turin; he yearned for saudade and radio cosmology in Lisbon; in Manchester he tuned in to the Smiths and SKA (which is actually the acronym for the Square Kilometre Array radio telescope) and returned to Turin with Rita Levi Montalcini's scholarship. He has more good friends than he deserves, for whom he at least tries to cook as best he can. He is married to an illustrator with whom he hopes to publish a book one day—his words, her drawings. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
