By 2050, nearly 70% of the world's population will live in urban areas, leading to an increase in both positive and negative aspects. So, what kind of cities will we expect in 2039? How can new Artificial Intelligence techniques be used to design safe, functional, creative, livable, and happy cities? Bruno leads the MobS Lab at FBK, is Chief AI Scientist at Manpower Group, and is a senior researcher affiliated with Data-Pop Alliance, a think tank on big data and sustainable development created by the MIT Media Lab and the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative. In 2010, he won a Marie Curie Fellowship, thanks to which he worked as a postdoc at the MIT Media Lab for three years. He holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Trento. He recently founded Profilio, a startup working in the field of computational personality analysis with applications in marketing, human resources, and more. His research interests include computational social sciences, machine learning, urban computing, and new models for monetizing personal data.
