TAOÍSMO: Filosofía del FLOW (Lao Tse) - La VIDA según el TAO y Comparación con el ESTOICISMO

Taoism, whose greatest exponent is Lao Tzu, is the philosophy of flow. Life according to Tao presents several similarities and differences with Stoicism. This short documentary aims to cover the basic aspects of Taoist philosophy, as well as offer an opinion on its fundamental pillars. 🎙️ Support the channel ►   / ramtalks   🤝 You can also support the channel via: Paypal: paypal.me/ramtalks Bitcoin: 1J8tdVXCNGRmhX1AXE43ELrocN3f41kd47 Ethereum: 1LuaK9b8hRf9w4a8dwgYxhStvH9rWX6g2v 📖 Recommended Taoist books ► https://amzn.to/2WzgjZe https://amzn.to/2T715sc https://amzn.to/3g0mQE7 https://amzn.to/3dRNeOw Hey! Their foundation lies in obtaining knowledge that allows them to acquire external things: material goods, ephemeral experiences, prestigious positions, etc. However, the price they pay is extremely high: they exhaust their bodily vitality and overload their minds only to end in widespread discontent. And, as if that weren't enough, they crave more and more, fueling the greed, avarice, and pride of an individual who has never asked themselves: why am I doing what I do? The Taoists observed that humans tend to act counterproductively, as they try to alter the course of nature from their mere insignificance. Their efforts, norms, and customs are intended to improve the common good, but these are meaningless, according to the Eastern sages. Why? Simple: this network of ideas juxtaposed under a reigning chaos cannot predict a reality in constant motion. Nature follows a dialectical dynamic, that is, it is in a state of continuous, completely unpredictable change. This is what is known as the natural flow of life. Behind the ever-changing universe lies a mysterious and indefinable force that Taoists call the Tao. Make no mistake: it's not a concept, it's not a truth, it's not something I (or anyone else) can grasp with a vague combination of phonemes. To avoid leaving you with a bad taste in your mouth, the closest thing I've found to explaining the Tao is the idea of God, but we wouldn't even be talking about the same thing. Indeed, the Tao encompasses everything: it is beyond what one can perceive through the senses and think through reason, which makes it incomprehensible to us. We simply aren't designed for that.
