A really brilliant trip to Hatfield station on the East Coast Mainline where we see plenty of services from VTEC, Grand Central, First Hull Trains and Govia Great Northern. The station layout was slightly different to what I was expecting I must admit, particular with platform 1 being so far down from 2 and 3 but nevertheless the views were well rewarded. This is a station I will come back to and more than likely this very spot, originally I did go onto platform 2 but I couldn't see a thing, the trains would be right on top of me before I would be able to film them. But what made this trip really special for me was to visit Freddy, one of the nicest guys I have met, really well mannered . He did some filming with me and it really made it a great afternoon out, he helped me point out certain trains from a great distance away. I hope you all enjoy watching this as much as I did filming it. My next video will be from Brookmans Park.
