Jak z dobrej cukierni, ale bez cukierniczych sztuczek, zwykłe ciasto robi elegancki efekt
Atne, two-tone cookies with cocoa dough, melted chocolate, and freeze-dried raspberries are perfect for the holidays, with coffee, or as a sweet gift. Ingredients for star cookies: 🔺 100 g soft butter 🔺 a pinch of salt 🔺 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar 🔺 80 g powdered sugar 🔺 1 room-temperature egg 🔺 20 g vegetable oil 🔺 15 g cornstarch 🔺 220 g flour 🔺 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 🔺 extra flour to adjust dough consistency 🔺 10 g cocoa powder 🔺 melted chocolate or any jam 🔺 freeze-dried raspberries for decoration Preparation: Cream the butter with salt, vanilla sugar, and powdered sugar. Add the room-temperature egg, vegetable oil, cornstarch, flour, and baking powder. Knead into a soft, slightly sticky dough. Divide the dough into two parts. Add a bit of flour to one part until it no longer sticks to your hands. To the other part, add cocoa powder and a little flour, then knead as well. The exact amount of flour may vary, so it’s best to judge by the dough’s consistency. Roll out both doughs between sheets of parchment paper to about 3–4 mm thickness. Cut out stars: half larger, half smaller. Cut out the centers of the smaller stars. Place the cookies in the fridge for 30 minutes. This makes the dough easier to handle and helps the cookies keep their shape during baking. Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 10–12 minutes. Once cooled, spread melted chocolate or jam on the larger stars, top with the smaller stars, and decorate with freeze-dried raspberries. These cookies are very simple to make, yet look elegant, festive, and truly impressive. Perfect for Christmas, family gatherings, or as a sweet gift.
