Caso Marcelo: velório de empresário acontece na manhã desta sexta-feira (24)

Businessman Marcelo Magalhães de Almeida, 31, is being mourned this Friday morning (24) in Vargem Grande Paulista (SP). His body was found by his family last Thursday (23), after a week of intense searches. The businessman was inside a black bag, floating in a river in the Carapicuíba region, Greater São Paulo. Investigations revealed that Marcelo was lured into an ambush where he was kidnapped and murdered. Information about the location of the body was provided by three men detained by the police, who confessed to the crime. Among those involved is Lucas Soares de Lima, a close friend of the victim and identified as the mastermind behind the murder. Temporary arrest warrants were also issued for Júlio César Moura Batista and Paulo Sérgio Soares Almeida. A fourth suspect, known as “Capivara”, surrendered to the police on Thursday.
