Skalnik i Ostra Mała - klimatyczne Rudawy | Zielony szlak z Wałbrzycha do Szklarskiej (fragment) #5

This is the last day when we follow the green trail Wałbrzych - Szklarska Poręba. We will hike through the charming Rudawy Janowickie all day long. The Rudawski Landscape Park is definitely the most beautiful area we wandered through during this trip. On a rainy morning, we leave the Pod Wysoką Kopa agritourism farm in Rędziny and start walking through beautiful areas to Czarnów. Behind the village we enter the forest and start a pleasant ascent to Skalnik in an atmospheric, foggy aura. The trail is in the forest, leads along forest paths and makes a very pleasant impression on us. Suddenly we reach the ridge and go to the viewpoint on Ostra Mała. Ostra Mała is a rock formation on the lower peak of Skalnik, which offers a vast panorama of the Kaczawskie Mountains, the Karkonosze Mountains and the Jelenia Góra Valley. When we had feasted our eyes on the panorama, we said goodbye to the green long-distance trail and started walking along the blue long-distance trail leading from Szklarska Poręba to Pasterka. However, our journey there will not be too long. Because the Crown of Polish Mountains and the nearby peak - Skalnik - were calling us, we eagerly marched towards it. You could skip the summit because it is so invisible, but the summit plaque marks its location. After stamping the KGP books, we continue along the blue trail. At some point we go down the yellow trail to reach Karpniki through Strużnica, where the Karioka agritourism shelter welcomed us for the night. After replenishing supplies in the local shop and having dinner at the hostel, we ended the day with a local beer from Miedzianka.
