Murray heads out for a midweek solo session of metal detecting in Walton-on-the-Hill, Surrey, UK. Hunting with his Equinox 900 on a brand new permission near the historic Tadworth WW1 military camp. With previous visits to this area producing cap badges, buttons and coins linked to the soldiers who trained here, hopes are high for more military finds. Under a clear blue sky, signals start coming in and the finds begin to build, although nothing military turns up this time. Just when it looks like a quiet day, a lucky last-minute “day saver” makes it all worthwhile.
