The ROC Armed Forces' most elite special operations assault troops have officially completed their training. Thirteen elite special operations soldiers endured 14 weeks of grueling training, nearly deprived of sleep during the final 10 days and 9 nights of intensive assessment, maintaining constant high alert. Their clothes and shoes revealed blisters on their feet and eczema all over their bodies, the constant stinging pain pushing them to their physical and mental limits. During nighttime infiltration and marching training before dawn, the trainees had to wear night vision goggles, carefully avoiding large areas of dead branches and leaves in the pitch-black forest, minimizing the noise of their movements, and overcoming slippery, wet cliffs by hand in harsh conditions. On-site, the trainees shouted, "Assault troops 022, ready for difficult terrain!" and descended rapidly from a height of four to five stories, relying solely on their limbs and rope skills. Trainee Zhang Jiaqi recalled emotionally that during lunch at 9 PM, he would hold his food in his hand, and fall asleep instantly within two seconds of lying down, even while sleeping, despite the persistent stinging pain from his eczema. The harsh battlefield environment allowed no room for relaxation. At the final stage of their training, the trainees had to overcome their fear and leap from a 22-meter-high platform, equivalent to a seven-story building, into the "Confidence Pool." The training center specially invited family members to the camp to witness this glorious moment. Seeing their sons endure so much hardship, even the usually stern and unsmiling instructors became targets of their revenge. Feng Zhiwei, the leader of the Mountain and Cold Weather Group at the Army Special Training Center, and Zhang Shengrong, an instructor from the Water Training Group, also witnessed the event, highlighting the remarkable ability to maintain focus under extreme fatigue.
