Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman paid attention to a vocational high school student named Dias while attending the 65th anniversary of the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM) on Saturday (July 18, 2026). During an on-stage dialogue, Amran learned that Dias is an orphan who currently lives with her grandparents. Dias told Amran that she wanted to work before continuing her education to college due to financial constraints. Upon hearing this, Amran immediately asked the directors present at the event to provide Dias with an internship opportunity after graduation. This opportunity would hopefully allow Dias to work while continuing her studies. In addition to securing the internship opportunity, Amran also personally provided assistance to Dias as a sign of his concern for her situation. On that occasion, Amran also encouraged Dias to remain enthusiastic and continue striving to achieve her dreams despite the limitations she faces. This step was taken as a form of support so that Dias would have the opportunity to continue her education and gain work experience after completing her vocational high school education.
