Just A Shave: Wolfman Guerrrilla - Gillette Nacet (M) (448) - DG Cerberus - Simpson Duke 3 Manch

Today's shave is to use Cerberus again, and to compare the Simpson Manchurian knot with the Stirling Finest. Razor: Wolfman - Guerrilla Blade: Gillette - Nacet (Marathon) (448) Lather: Declaration Grooming Milksteak - Cerberus Brush: Simpson - Duke 3 Manchurian Badger (0 uses) Post: Zingari Man - Explorer Razor and Blade Notes - Wolfman - Guerrilla ::: Gillette - Nacet (M) (448 uses): I hadn't shaved with this one in a while, and felt like it today. It worked very well with the old nacet, even treating me nice during the ATG work at the end. Close and comfortable cut. Soap Notes - Declaration Grooming Milksteak - Cerberus: Collab with House of Mammoth doing the fragrance, and DG doing the soap base. Notes: stone fruit, opoponax, jasmine, labdanum, patchouli, sandalwood Scent Strength: 4/10, lightly present during shaving. Lather: Nailed it today. I remembered that too dry and it slows the razor on my face and generates a little irritation due to that friction. Slick and protective, but with a luxurious light creaminess to it. Hydration: Perfect (for me) 30 sec load with a Lightly-Wet brush 6.1 tsp added to make lather = 6 passes of lather Bowl: Roger Quintero 3D Printed Bowl I use the XL version of this bowl. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:339... Brush Notes - Simpson - Duke 3 Manchurian Badger (0 uses): Nice soft tips, but comes along with a thin ropey/wiry feel too. Not as nice as the Stirling Finest in the tip softness dept. Not as dense as the Stirling it seems, so has a little easier splay and a little less backbone. A nice brush, but probably not worth the many dollars more than the Stirling, to me. *Shave Quality* During the Shave Feel: Cheeks: Felt blade but comfortable Neck: Felt blade but comfortable After the Shave Closeness: Cheeks: Very Close Shave Neck: Several hairs are showing some tip length (still a pretty good shave) I'm gradually adding answers to frequent questions here: http://www.sugardaddyshaves.com Wetshaving is the age-old shaving method where you create a lather from a soap or cream, usually with a brush. And these days, we also usually mean using a safety razor (aka double edge or DE) or single edge or straight razor to remove the hair. We often enjoy less irritated skin, healthier skin, more enjoyable shaves, and often closer shaves than those who use a multi-bladed cartridge and canned shaving foam.
