DATSUN 280Z AN FUEL LINE CONVERSION TUTORIAL (CPE) | Converting a classic car to AN Fuel Lines

In this video we'll walk through the install of AN Fuel lines, fittings, and upgraded fuel filters in my 1978 Datsun 280z! (Product Links Below) Join me in the garage as we install brand new Nylon-Braided AN Fuel Lines in my Datsun 280z. This project is especially important if you plan to run any serious boost, or if you're looking to replace the stock rubber fuel lines with something more modern and durable. PTFE AN lines are also required if you plan to run E85 fuel in your car, so this tutorial is applicable to any classic car conversion. I'll run through the various tools and parts I purchased for this job, including a Jeggs Hose cutter, a hard line cutter, AN PTFE lines, AN fittings, AN hard line adapters, orb and O-ring fittings, and a variety of other things. The first thing you'll want to do is install all of your hard product, that's your fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, and hard line adapters. After that use something to measure the length of all the line that you need. lastly cut your line with some tape holding back the frays. After that put your fitting face down on your work bench and work it into the line as directed in this video. They key here is to get a clean fit without any frays. After that you can simply test fit the lines to see if you made them adequately long. After that make sure to pressure test the system. The last thing you want is to be leaking fuel, burning cars is not fun. After that, sit back and admire you're incredible work.
