Shai-Osudoku District Assembly improves Asutsuare–Akuse Road with support from the Greater Accra Regional Minister. The Shai-Osudoku District Assembly, under the leadership of Hon. Ignatius Godfred Dordoe, has commenced improvement works on the Asutsuare–Akuse road in collaboration with the Greater Accra Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Shai-Osudoku, Hon. Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo. The initiative, which began on Thursday , April 9, 2026, is aimed at enhancing the condition of the road to ensure safer and smoother transportation for residents, commuters, and businesses within the enclave. The ongoing works include reshaping the road, spot filling damaged portions, and compacting the surface to make it more motorable. This intervention is expected to significantly ease movement along the stretch while awaiting the Ghana Highways Authority to undertake the final tarring of the road. Residents and road users have long expressed concerns over the poor state of the Asutsuare–Akuse road, which has affected transportation, trade, and access to essential services. The Assembly’s timely intervention, with support from the Regional Minister, is therefore seen as a major relief to the community.
