4 ejercicios para ganar POTENCIA y VELOCIDAD para jugadores de rugby

🏉 In RUGBY, SPEED is crucial. That initial burst of speed can be the difference between winning a duel, reaching a loose ball first, or overtaking your opponent in a decisive meter. Today I'll show you 4 exercises to improve that explosive START. ⬇️ We'll start with the DEPTH JUMP. By stepping down from a box and bouncing back up, you develop more POWER. This gives you EXPLOSIVENESS in the first few meters, exactly what you need to break through the defensive line. 🏋️ Next is the SQUAT JUMP with kettlebells. A DEEP squat followed by a maximum jump. This trains the POSTERIOR CHAIN, essential for scrums, tackles, and short bursts of acceleration on the field. ↔️ The third is the BROAD JUMP, horizontal jumps that improve your FORWARD PROJECTION. Ideal for gaining ground at the START and improving each initial stride. 🚦 We finish with SPEED STRETCHES: 20m sprint, 20m DECELERATION, 20 seconds rest. Do 10 sets. This trains ENDURANCE and explosive power, like in a high-intensity counterattack. 🤸 Always remember to focus on ankle and hip MOBILITY. Preventing INJURIES is key to staying strong all season.
