Are you struggling with back pain, a bad posture, or any other issues with your spine? Yoga backbends are one of the most amazing ways to heal the spine, returning to its natural range of motion, improving our posture, and freeing ourselves from back pain. In this video, we'll focus on different backbends that not only stretch the spine but automatically strengthen it, which is key for spinal health. We will be working towards wheel pose, which is a very intense backbend, and if you're not ready for it just yet, or feel any pain in your lower spine, you can (and should!!) still do this video, as we will be working towards this pose. With consistency, it will become easier and more accessible. When I started my yoga practice, I wasn't able to do a wheel pose, and it only came after some time of consistently practicing yoga.
