🟣 Rukiye Demir, 65, lives in the village of Buzlupınar (Biberoz) in Rize. Although she leads a simple village life with her husband, she carries a heavy burden in her heart. The reason for her enduring sorrow is the loss of her son, who died in an accident many years ago just after finishing the 5th grade. Even though 27 years have passed, the pain of losing her child remains fresh. Rukiye lives with a quiet inner struggle; whenever she smiles or enjoys herself, she feels a sense of guilt toward her son. Yet in this sorrowful life there is a great love that does not leave her alone: the villagers share in their own words how much they have always loved her and how they still hold her in high regard today.
