🟣Hilmiye Karaoğlu, 78, and her 17-year-old grandson Efe Karaoğlu, who live in Gültepe Village in the Ardeşen district of Rize, spend their summers raising livestock together. Living in Ankara and feeling that city life does not give him enough freedom, Efe returns to the village every summer to care for his beloved cow, Yazgül. Seeing her grandson's enthusiasm, grandmother Hilmiye chooses not to sell the cow she looks after alone throughout the winter, instead waiting for Efe's return each summer. Accompanied by poems recited by their neighbor Yılmaz Başkarahan, Efe finds the peace and freedom he longs for in village life, while his happiness brings joy to his grandmother as well. This heartfelt reunion and the bond between two generations are brought to the screen through the simple yet beautiful details of life in nature.
