Attorney Hotman Paris Hutapea has officially become the attorney for former Attorney General's Office (AGO) Special Crimes Director, Febrie Adriansyah. As reported by Tribunnews, after being officially appointed as attorney, Hotman immediately accompanied Febrie during the questioning process. Hotman himself was seen arriving at the Jampidsus Round Building in South Jakarta on Friday morning (July 17, 2026). When questioned by the media, Hotman confirmed his appointment as Febrie's attorney. According to observations, Hotman arrived at the round building at approximately 9:40 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) with his team and entered through the basement. Hotman did not make any further statements upon arrival, but proceeded directly inside. For your information, Febrie Adriansyah has been named a suspect by the National Police's Corruption Eradication Commission (Kortas Tipidkor) in a case of alleged corruption and money laundering (TPPU) related to the coal-fired power plant (PLTU), PT Asabri, and PT Krakatau Steel. In addition to Febrie, the National Police have also named Don Ritto as a suspect. The National Police then referred the case against Febrie to the Attorney General's Office. Don Ritto himself has been detained and handed over to the Attorney General's Office on Friday (July 17, 2026) along with evidence.
