I challenged myself to port a 20+ year old code in modern Game Maker
In this video, I am setting up my game dev environment from a fresh Windows 10 LTSC install (it was the PC that got hacked back in May 2026). Then immediately after I showcase the process of porting an ancient code from 2000s Game Maker into modern Game Maker.
