Making Chive Blossom Salt.
#chives #homemadesalt #easyrecipe I picked 2/3 cup of chive blossom petals and mixed them with one cup of pickling salt. You can use sea salt, just any non-iodized salt will work. I left mine to dry on a plate for about a week, stirring it several times a day. I blended the salt and blossom flowers together, once dry, and then I am storing them in an air tight container. These would make great gifts. Maybe you could put a fancier tag than green painters tape on it, too. LOL Don't have chives? Dry some green onions and process the same way. Take care, Annette
