Filming of Corinne Morris's career relaunch album 'Macedonian Sessions'. Corinne Morris, solo cello, Macedonian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Philip Hesketh conducting. Recorded and filmed in July 2013. Composed in 1984 for bandoneon, Astor Piazzola's Oblivion has since been performed by a variety of melodic instruments and ensembles. This great versatility can be explained by the fact that the Argentine tango is largely improvised; this enables the musician to give a very personal interpretation by bending the rhythm and adding colours not indicated on the score. Performed by classical and jazz superstars alike, Oblivion is Piazzola's most often recorded piece, after Adios Nonino.
