Army Chief of Staff Visits 754th Infantry Battalion Headquarters, Kostrad Army Chief of Staff (KASAD), General Maruli Simanjuntak, and a delegation from Army Headquarters visited the Raja Fighters headquarters as part of a series of working visits to the Papua region, in Timika, on Tuesday (11/12/24). During this visit, the Army Chief of Staff and his entourage were received enthusiastically by all soldiers from the 754th Infantry Battalion/ENK. The meeting began with a report from the Battalion Commander, followed by a salute and a soldier's salute from the Kostrad fighters on the eastern horizon. The soldiers from the 754th Infantry Battalion, along with some soldiers deployed in Papua, enthusiastically listened to a briefing from General Maruli Simanjuntak at the Marshalling Area. This Marshalling Area is a location created directly by the Army Chief of Staff to facilitate operational tasks in the Papua region. "As a soldier, discipline is key in battle. Whoever is more disciplined wins the battle. Our equipment is sophisticated, and the hearts of the people are crucial for us to win. Never tire of being disciplined, stay close to the people, and don't hurt the weak," said General Maruli Simanjuntak in his briefing to the soldiers of Yonif 754.
