This time, my wife and I went on a motorcycle trip in search of the breathtaking natural scenery of Fukushima Prefecture in Tohoku. First, we headed to Soma Nakamura Shrine, a place we wanted to visit especially since it was the Year of the Horse. It's famous as a shrine for motorcyclists, but it's also the shrine where the departure ceremony for the Soma Nomaoi festival takes place, making it an auspicious shrine with many horse-related items. After visiting the shrine, we went to Matsukawaura. We enjoyed delicious seafood at Saishun, a renowned restaurant where you can enjoy local Joban cuisine. Speaking of Matsukawaura... the Ozu Matsukawa Line! Known as a scenic road surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and Matsukawaura, the white sandy beaches and the beautiful blue and emerald green sea are truly spectacular. It was a breathtaking view that made us want to ride our motorcycles. And at the end of our trip, we unexpectedly found a Moomin House in Matsukawaura, Soma City… a stylish cafe we ​​stumbled upon! Both the exterior and interior of the building were filled with the world of Moomin.
