Easy Homemade Amaretto | DISARONNO

Easy homemade amaretto tastes just like DISARONNO! There are a couple tricks here to get it tasting exactly like Disaronno, or you can do what I like to do and adjust it to suit your own tastes! Amaretto is an Italian liqueur that tastes like almonds. Not all amaretto is actually made with almonds though! In particular, Disaronno is actually made with apricot pits but still tastes just like almonds. Also, Disaronno has a bit of spice that is not almond, or any other nut! To get close to that flavor we are adding just a hint of cinnamon. There are two different kinds of cinnamon, and we want the kind with some heat to it: Cassia cinnamon. Also, make sure to listen to the part where I share my super secret ingredient if you want a true copycat disaronno flavor. Spoiler Alert: it's whiskey.
