The Optokinetic Response
The optokinetic system is the main thing that keeps the world smooth to your eyes. If your optokinetic system is not working properly, your eyes will tend to jump all around when you move your head. Some people also report feeling dizzy or disoriented when walking down the aisle at the grocery store or being around large crowds. The optokinetic system is commonly impacted in concussion or in people with dizziness or vertigo. Watch as Dr. Perman explains simple exercises you can do to improve this system!
