Que faire des cons ? | Maxime Rovere | TEDxTours
Maxime Rovere, a philosopher specializing in Spinoza and ethics, taught at the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) in France and at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC) in Brazil. His philosophical work focuses in particular on the interplay between philosophical language applied to ethical questions. Maxime Rovere has done everything he can to escape: into abstraction (he is a Spinoza specialist), to Papua New Guinea (where he has regularly stayed since 2002), and to Brazil (where he teaches at the PUC in Rio de Janeiro), he has tried to flee from malevolent individuals. Today, he has made a complete about-face. He is putting his philosophical expertise to work on a universal problem. He has notably published, with Flammarion, a philosophical novel, "Le Clan Spinoza" (The Spinoza Clan), and "Que faire des cons ? Pour ne pas en reste un soi-même" (What to Do with Jerks? So as Not to Remain One Yourself).
