I'm taking you on a motorhome trip with a trailer, starting in southern Spain, from Murcia and Mazarrón, along the AP-7 on the Spanish Mediterranean coast. We'll travel through France on toll roads to Freiburg im Breisgau and then on to Upper Swabia, near Ravensburg. I'm driving alone and will show you how I organized everything. I easily covered the roughly 1,800-kilometer route in about two and a half days with two overnight stops. I slept very well and for long stretches in the motorhome each day. I filled up with fuel three times. In France, I used the toll highways. This is easier on the vehicle than frequent stops and especially the many speed bumps at pedestrian crossings when driving through towns. In this video, I'll share my experiences. Since I had a lot of footage, I had to cut some parts. During the trip, my Dometic refrigerator stopped working. I had to turn it off. Apparently, a sensor that controls the door is faulty. As a result, the refrigerator wouldn't turn off and kept running – annoying. I'll have that checked. I always refuel my AdBlue from a canister, which has worked perfectly for me. I always use an additive to prevent crystallization. I deliberately chose a slightly longer route because I don't want to drive through Switzerland. The heavy vehicle tax really puts me off. Booking online in advance... no way. I'll just drive around Switzerland. The video shows many impressions from the trip, as well as tips on organizing and preparing for such a journey.
