-And here is the memorable Game 5 of the 1976 ALCS as the Yankees ended their 12 year pennant drought thanks to Chris Chambliss's walk-off HR off Mark Littell. Previous uploads of this radio broadcast come from a lower quality Schenectady-NY recording. Here is the pristine WMCA recording with complete pregame and postgame hosted on-site by Mel Allen and John Sterling (I previously uploaded the postgame only several years ago and have kept it in this upload). In the pregame, they interview Ernie Harwell who called the game with Ned Martin on CBS Radio and Harwell amusingly keeps calling Sterling "Jack", confusing him with a former WCBS Radio personality of the early 60s, Jack Sterling. -Phil Rizzuto, Frank Messer and Bill White with the PBP of the game.
