Oz: Burst of wind, showers, some snow for south-east, lingers for Tas.

A wintry change of weather will move into the south-east of Australia over the coming days and while it does bring some snow chances back to the skifields it's not overly cold for many regions. But Tasmania is more caught up in the cold with polar airflows frequently in the mix along with heavy west coast showers and potential gales. This set-up also affects Vic to a lesser degree, but the windier and colder/cooler weather may also affect some parts of SA, NSW and the A.C.T. Meanwhile eastern coastal Australia has more offshore showers moving in until that westerly change arrives. Downpours and thunderstorms today spillover from the NT and into western Qld and some wet weather risks continue in SA (along with larger dry areas) and a few coastal showers in the south of WA. *Programming Note: Due to a public holiday in NZ we have no weather video update tomorrow/Friday.
