Climbing OUTDOOR for the First Time | Climbing in Mozet (Ardennes, Belgium)

We went climbing outdoor for the first time.We finished up our lead climbing course, so we drove out to the rocks of Mozet. A very nice crag, although pretty polished from all the climbing. Unfortunately I later found out that climbing is limited to members of the Belgium alpine clubs, so we were actually not allowed (sorry for that). This video is partly Dutch, although subtitled. Excuse for that, future videos will be in English! We're from the Netherlands: an absolute flat country. No rocks to find here. I love the mountains, so last year I started climbing, together with my girlfriend. A couple of friends joined us, and we're kind of hooked ever since. My goal is to get outside as much as possible, and take you on our journeys. For us, the Belgium Ardennes are the nearest rocks. Mozet is one of the classic crags in the region and has been climbed for decades. It's a very nice spot with everything from steep overhangs to slabs. The rocks are in a beautiful valley, just a ten to fifteen minutes approach from the road. Important: to climb here, you need to be a member of the alpine and climbing club of your country.
