Benny Goodman, Lionel Hampton: Opus 1/2

We mark the 40th anniversary of the death of Benny Goodman on 13 June with a performance of his lively Opus 1/2. Recorded at the Münchner Klaviersommer in the Gasteig in 1992, this concert brings together clarinettist Eddie Daniels and the Gary Burton Quartet in a spirited tribute to Benny Goodman and Lionel Hampton.
