I Stayed in the UK's Most Remote Hotel

Miles from the nearest town, eight miles from a village of 51 people, and one single-track road in, this is Garvault House, the most remote hotel in mainland Britain. No TV, no shop for 45 miles. Just a whisky bar, multiple libraries, and empty hills in every direction. I drove to the far north of the Scottish Highlands to spend the night here and find out what it's actually like to stay somewhere this cut off from everything.
