Chuckwalla, CVMA 2022-23 Round 4, CW Amateur Formula Open race, Saturday: Big crash!

Onboard 2019 Ducati Panigale V4, CMA #972 I found free track during qualifying, dropped my PR by 1.5s, and that put me P3 on the grid, matching my best-ever qualifying result. But my clutch was getting tired and I got swallowed into T1. I started to feel racy when a big collision into T11 red flagged the race. My clutch failed completely on the restart and I had to retire with a DNF. Special thanks to Richard at DesmoVeloce for swapping out my clutch in a jiffy and getting me back for the Formula 40 race!
