Tommy's Trains - Dunston & The Northern Belle

After the first excitement of seeing The Pennine Peak on Friday, we were more than ready for some more trainspotting on Saturday. Unfortunately, Toomey's football clashed with The Northern Belle passing Cramlington but thankfully we managed to video it as it flew by. In the afternoon, we weren't sure where to go until Tommy suggested Dunston. What. Genius idea, as no freight was due on the ECML but there was one due on The Tyne Valley Line. Despite Dad calling them 156 engines one the video (🤪), 2 66 Class Freightliner engines delighted us as they came around the corner whilst we stood on the island platform that Dunston provides. Other than the 66 Class, it was only ‪@NorthernRailwayOfficial‬ trains but the drivers and conductors were generous enough to keep us entertained.
