In October, we aired a report about a man driving a Zhiguli car who crashed into an SUV carrying officers from the Nizhny Novgorod Region Department for Combating Economic Crimes and accused them of drunk driving, but couldn't prove it. A huge number of police officers arrived at the scene, and even a well-known lawyer rushed to the scene that night to help the officers, and one of them escaped. So, as it turns out, this wasn't just an accident—it was a car scam, and the man wasn't just the driver of the Zhiguli car, but a certain citizen with a criminal record nicknamed "Worm." Moreover, as it has now become known, two months after the high-profile accident, this "Chervyak" was connected to a fraud scheme involving extortion of money from SVO participants and mass poisoning of people with counterfeit alcohol. The scheme was as follows: they would search for antisocial individuals, send them to the SVO, and then take their money.
