Wild Camping Scotland – Remote Island Solitude, Views… and a Million Midges"

Decided to travel over to the fairly remote Isle of Raasay in Scotland for 2 days wild camping . Beautiful island steeped in history and rich in scenic beauty. I took my one onetigris cosmitto 2 tent with me and found a nice little pitch on a beach under an old castle ruins (Brochel castle) , and learnt about the iconic Callums road and the history behind it . Unfortunately I ended up a bit unwell and the midges were out in force , but I enjoyed it all the same , but cut my adventure short after 1 night .
