LORENA, MATERNAL: un entorno de violencia extrema desató una furia incontenible - MUJERES ASESINAS
Retrotrece presents this remastered premiere of "Killer Women." David (Daniel Hendler) is a violent and aggressive man who makes a living selling drugs. He has a very troubled relationship with Lorena (Valentina Bassi), his partner, who is seven months pregnant. Despite her advanced pregnancy, David shows her no respect: he not only subjects her to physical abuse but also treats her with complete neglect, abandoning her entirely and encouraging her to consume alcohol and barbiturates. He even cheats on her with another woman. She is aware of what is happening. She tries to leave him, but for some reason, she always ends up going back to him. Lorena finds affection and support in her brother Hernán (Nahuel Pérez Biscayart). The two are very close, but the young man is addicted to cocaine. To make matters worse, he suffers from a severe congenital health problem that is exacerbated by the effects of drugs. His sister desperately tries to keep him away from "that world." However, Hernán struggles to quit using drugs. Their mother, Margarita (Marta Bianchi), blames Lorena and David for fueling—and encouraging—her son's addiction. Because of this, she is distant and extremely aggressive with her daughter. Despite his family's fruitless pleas, Hernán continues using. Until his body finally gives out. Margarita blames Lorena for this situation. But she knows who the real culprit is and, overcome by despair, brings this story to a tragic end. A broken Lorena shoots David three times. Furthermore, David was constantly having an affair with a female friend, which enraged Lorena even more. Starring Valentina Bassi as the killer. Co-starring: Daniel Hendler, Nahuel Pérez Biscayart, Marta Bianchi, and Mariana Glezer. Directed by Alberto Lecchi.
