¡ESTRENO REMASTERIZADO! IRMA, LA DE LOS PECES: el desgarrador relato de una asfixia silenciosa

Retrotrece presents this remastered premiere of "Killer Women." Irma (Araceli González) is a woman suffocated by her husband. Jealous to the point of exhaustion, violent, aggressive, and paranoid, Osvaldo (Luis Luque) smothers his wife and is determined to keep her under his thumb. He can't fathom her studying, advancing in her career, much less fulfilling her desire to become a mother. Irma feels like she can't breathe and finds solace in the fish, which she cares for as if they were her children. She's almost obsessed with them, perhaps because she identifies with them. In a fight between them, Osvaldo destroys the beautiful fishpond, killing them. She can only stand there, frozen, watching. Then, dazed and desperate, she takes one of the stockings her husband gave her, fills it with the stones left behind when the fish tank broke, and stealthily enters the room where her husband sleeps and delivers ten precise blows to his head, killing him. Starring Araceli González as the killer and co-starring Luis Luque. It also featured a special appearance by Silvina Bosco and appearances by Gianni Fiore and Juan Bonaudi. Directed by Marcos Carnevale. ABOUT KILLER WOMEN: This series of one-off episodes was inspired by famous Argentine homicides that shared the common characteristic of having been committed by women.
