Mpumalanga | Protests leave some shops closed
Most Spaza shops in Klarinet in eMalahleni, Mpumalanga, remain closed following marches that called for undocumented foreign nationals to leave the country. As a result, this has left many township spaza shops vacant. A digital community engagement group called Tumbo has come on board in townships to assist residents with spaza shops. Tumbo has set aside R250 000 to support small businesses. SABC News Reporter Nhlanhla Jele and Video Journalist Lungile Ngcongwane filed this report.
