Anti-Immigrant Protests Rage in South Africa as Thousands Flood Streets of Johannesburg

Protesters marched in South African cities including Johannesburg and the port city of Durban on Tuesday (June 30), as thousands joined anti-immigration demonstrations under the watch of police and private security personnel. In Durban, March in March organiser Jacinta Zinhle Ngobese-Zuma called for national resources to be used over the next six months to remove illegal immigrants from the country, saying they should be taken out of buildings across the country. She also told supporters the protests would be held every Thursday.
