DART Green Line Breaks Pantograph & Catenary | Aftermath & Repairs - September 22, 2024

I was informed by a friend at DART that a train had broken its pantograph near Bachman Station. Thankfully, I was able to head down to check it out. When I got there, trains had already begun single tracking and reverse running, and a crossing was closed off for whatever reason. I had checked the damaged train out and it turned out that LRV 198 was the one that broke its pantograph. Later on, I went to Burbank Station after learning a hirail truck was down there, and I saw that as well as another truck arriving. Then, I went back and got a first good look at the wire damage, which was considerably bad. And finally, we were able to take a look at repairs to the wires before ending the video. #train #railroad #railway #lightrail #railfan #railfans
