2024 Notre Dame Senior Alumni Veteran’s Day Program

The Notre Dame Senior Alumni (NDSA) group is pleased to present its fifth annual Veteran’s Day Program honoring all who have served our nation. The program is part of the NDSA’s God, Country, Notre Dame Signature Event Series. This year’s 16-minute program features the story of Eric Goins, a 2016 Citadel graduate whose journey to Notre Dame to become an MBA student and as a walk-on kicker on the Fighting Irish football team took an unusual path. In an interview with former Marine Captain Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist Mike Cerre ’69, Eric talks about his football career at The Citadel, serving as an officer in the United States Army for seven years, and his journey to Notre Dame.
