Wild Whites Lake- 3 Day Backcountry Canoe Camping *NEW TENTS*

May fishing trip into the Whites Lake Wilderness Area. This is a 3 day backcountry trip that my buddy Johnny and my two dogs enjoyed a couple weeks ago. Testing a new Big Agnes tent... Johnny found a sale on them and we both ended up buying one. Not sponsored and no affiliation with the company.. we both loved the tent and for me it is a good improvement from my MSR Elixir. This trip came together very quickly since both Johnny and I were in need of a weekend in nature. We still managed to eat very well even with the lack of prior planning. We were thinking we would run into a few people as it is the height of trout fishing season, but it ended up that we never saw another person until back to the car! We did end up having some good luck fishing on day 2... nothing crazy but both of us caught about 6 fish each (catch and release). I did get a couple on camera but that will be the start of part 2 as part 1 was getting a bit too long. I've tried to capture the feeling of being out there and the stress relief only the woods can offer. Hope you enjoy it! CFW
