TREK DANS LES PYRÉNÉES | Jour 2 : Col de Madamète, lacs d'altitude et descente éprouvante ! 🥾🐶

After our first night camping in Aygues-Cluses, surrounded by cows a little too curious for Myriam's liking 😅, we resumed our adventure for this second day of trekking in the Hautes-Pyrénées. https://rando.valleesdegavarnie.com/t... On the agenda: heading towards the Col de Madamète, passing by the magnificent Lac de Madamète, nestled in the heart of the mountains. While Éric tried his luck fishing, Mymy and Tao flew the drone and enjoyed the tranquility of this exceptional place before tackling the most challenging part of the day. The climb became more technical as we approached the pass. The effort was definitely there, but the reward was well worth it: below the Pic de Madamète, the panorama of the lakes and the Pyrenean peaks was simply breathtaking. As is often the case in the mountains, the descent isn't necessarily the easiest part. The very rocky trail puts legs and feet to the test. Upon arrival, Myriam even left with a few black toenails… the little souvenirs some treks leave long after you've returned! 😅 Luckily, Tao kept his spirits up from beginning to end. Between the streams, the wide-open spaces, the discovery of snow, and the well-deserved breaks, our faithful companion fully enjoyed this adventure. The drone also provided us with magnificent footage that allows us to relive these timeless moments. That's also why we love sharing our hikes with you: to preserve these intense moments and share the incredible beauty of the Pyrenees with you.
