Condo prices in the Vancouver area, Canada's most expensive housing market, should be allowed to normalize, giving the next generation a fair shot at home ownership. A bailout won’t create new housing — it will only keep prices out of reach for many Canadians. We requested a review of this proposal at the Ethics Committee this week. My full remarks are below.
