Pony Express Day 1: The Historic Heart of the Trail

We travel along the Pony Express trail stopping at all the Desert stations but also checking out all the secrets and interesting stops along the way that don't show up in the official guide maps. There was so much to see in Utah's West Desert that most people think is a barren wasteland that I decided to stop halfway through for a little overnight camping. In this first day we focus mainly on the history of the trail and some of the big names that we're integral to the Pony Express.
