🫎 Moose at camp, pizza in Anchorage, and an unforgettable World Cup watch party! ⚽

Day 25 of our Alaska Road Trip turned into one of our favorite days yet! 🫎 We woke up to an incredible surprise as another wild moose wandered through our campsite, bringing our trip total to 11 moose sightings! Wildlife encounters like this are one of the many reasons an Alaska road trip belongs on every traveler’s bucket list. After our morning coffee, we headed into Anchorage to stop by the ITT office and gather information about Anchorage trolley tours and Kenai Fjords glacier cruises from Seward, helping us plan the next leg of our Alaska adventure. Next, we visited the famous ULU Factory, where Remus gave us a fascinating personalized tour explaining the history and craftsmanship behind Alaska’s iconic ULU knives. Of course, we couldn’t leave without doing a little shopping! Lunch was at the legendary Moose’s Tooth Pub & Pizzeria, widely considered one of the best pizza restaurants in Alaska—and it definitely lived up to the hype. We wrapped up the day by heading back toward Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) to watch the USA vs. Belgium FIFA World Cup match at 907 Alehouse & Grill. The atmosphere was electric with passionate soccer fans filling the sports bar, but despite the incredible crowd, Team USA fell to Belgium 4-1.
