Kuta, Bali. Tuesday, 9 June 2026. Welcome to another beautiful day in Kuta, Bali! ☀️ This afternoon, we're exploring one of Bali's most iconic tourism destinations under brilliant blue skies and fluffy white clouds. The weather couldn't be better for a relaxing walk around Kuta's famous beachfront and bustling streets. Our journey begins on Pantai Kuta Street, near the famous Hard Rock Hotel. From there, we head straight onto Kuta Beach, one of the most legendary beaches in Indonesia and a destination that has attracted travellers from around the world for decades. As we stroll south along the shoreline, we take a closer look at the current condition of Kuta Beach. While the beach remains popular with visitors, it's clear that coastal erosion has had a significant impact on parts of the shoreline. The area continues to need ongoing conservation efforts to help preserve this iconic stretch of Bali's coastline for future generations. After enjoying the ocean views, we leave the beach through Kuta's iconic main entrance and continue along Pantai Kuta Street before turning right onto Bakungsari Street, also known as Kuta Square. This busy shopping and dining area remains one of Kuta's key tourist hubs, filled with shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and local businesses. We continue recording the latest atmosphere around Kuta Square before reaching Kartika Plaza Street, one of Kuta's most important tourism corridors, home to major hotels, restaurants, shopping centres, and entertainment venues. Next, we enter Discovery Mall Bali, one of the most popular shopping destinations in the area. We make our way to the beachfront section of the mall, where visitors often gather to enjoy the ocean views and watch the popular Sunset Kecak Fire Dance, which is usually performed around 6 pm against the stunning backdrop of the Indian Ocean. To finish our walk, we follow the beachfront northwards, passing the famous Boardwalk Restaurant, Kuta Art Market Road, and the beachfront area near Truntum Kuta Hotel, before returning to Kuta Beach's iconic main entrance, where today's walk comes to an end.
